Spring Lambing

🐑A big thank you to Mr Gill from Caledon Estates who invited us to see the lambing shed. 🐑
It's a very busy time of the year for sheep farmers so we appreciate the time taken to show the children how the lambing shed operates. We saw ewes with single, twin and triplet lambs. We also saw ewes almost ready to give birth. The ewe with the purple mark is expected to deliver triplets this week! It was a great morning for the children who got to see where the lambs in the fields beside the school were born.🙂
