Yesterday evening the St. Joseph’s school community met to mark the retirement of our much loved teacher, Ms Mary Largey. Ms Largey has been a teacher in our school since 1989 and has devoted the past 37 years to the children of Caledon and surrounding areas.
Throughout her incredible career, her dedication to the children she taught was always evident as she nurtured and encouraged every one to reach their full potential. Ms Largey takes great pride in the accomplishments of all her students, past and present and it was wonderful that so many were there to join the celebrations. Indeed many of her past pupils are now parents of her current class, a testimony to her long service in St. Joseph’s.
Whilst we will truly miss her kindness, wisdom and support the children, families, staff and Governors wish Mary a long and happy retirement
