Congratulations to P7 pupil Callum and P6 pupil Alisha on winning the school entry into creating a sausage recipe for a competition run by local Caledon Butchers – Gillanders.
The competition is an all Ireland event and invites primary school children to create their dream sausage recipe. Callum’s ‘Tutti Frutti’ sausage had mango and cranberries as the main ingredient while Alisha went for the more spicy ‘Tikka’ flavoured sausage. Both children had the opportunity to make their dream sausages in Gillanders Butchers and their creations have now been forwarded to be assessed by professionals to be judged against other enteries. We wish them well.
