Dear P6 & P7 Parents
Father Deveney has updated me regarding Confirmation for this year. Following a meeting with Archbishop Eamon Martin, it has been decided that P7 children ,only, will be confirmed in a special service in St Joseph’s Church at the end of August/beginning of September. The exact date and the way it will happen has yet to be confirmed but will be in line with the health advice at that time.
Father would like all of the P7 children to think of the name of a Saint whom they would like to have as their Confirmation name. Please let us know this as soon as possible.
Father hopes to attend the special leaver’s assembly next week when we hope we will have more detail.
P6 children will receive the sacrament next year.
